Michelle was commissioned by the school to make a large mosaic to commemorate their 100th birthday. The children made lots of drawings and Michelle designed the composition of the mosaic using as many as possible. Over the course of two days all the children in the school were able to stick pieces on. The mosaic has now been fixed to the wall of the playground.

Michelle was commissioned by the school to work with the children in year 6. The aim was to make a memorial mosaic for a boy in their class, Ben, who tragically died. The mosaic dipicts Ben's favorite television character and has been placed on the wall of the playground.

Michelle was asked by The Friends of Westcliff school to make a mosaic with the children during a day of arts activities at the school.The children had been aked to make drawings of their favourite insects.Michelle designed the composition using as many of these as possible and the children stuck the pieces on.The mosaic is now attached to a wall in the school playground and was awarded a Highly Commended prize in the Mega Mosaic Makers national primary school mosaic competition 2010.
